Xiaomi Smart Camera C500 Dual (4MP, 360° PTZ, AI Detection, Night Vision)

What this part is

The Xiaomi Smart Camera C500 Dual redefines intelligent surveillance with an advanced dual-lens architecture, combining fixed wide-angle and pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras for complete 360° coverage. Equipped with dual 4MP CMOS sensors and large F1.6 aperture lenses, the camera delivers ultra-HD resolution and full-colour night vision, ensuring clarity and detail in any lighting condition. Whether you're monitoring indoor activity, checking in on pets, or safeguarding entry points, the C500 Dual offers reliable visibility and adaptive smart monitoring.

Leveraging Xiaomi’s AI-driven detection engine, the fixed camera identifies motion while the PTZ lens dynamically zooms and tracks human or pet movement in real time. Customisable virtual zones act as digital boundaries, triggering alerts upon intrusion. Pet detection (cats and dogs), crying baby recognition, and dual-screen playback further enhance situational awareness, while touch-to-focus controls via the Xiaomi Home app allow precise targeting.

The device supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 for fast, stable connectivity, while Xiaomi HyperOS Connect enables seamless integration with other smart devices, including lights, door locks, and automation routines. With Alexa and Google Assistant compatibility, users can manage surveillance hands-free via voice commands.

Audio communication is facilitated through a built-in speaker and an independent acoustic cavity for echo-free, two-way conversations. Privacy remains paramount, supported by independent sleep modes and an embedded MJA1 security chipset with finance-grade encryption.

Efficient H.265 video compression ensures optimal storage use, with support for microSD (up to 256GB), NAS, and optional cloud storage. Flexible mounting options and cross-platform compatibility make the Xiaomi Smart Camera C500 Dual a powerful yet accessible solution for next-generation smart surveillance.

FEATURES:

Dual-lens system with wide-angle and PTZ cameras

4MP CMOS sensors with F1.6 large aperture

360° panoramic viewing with 24° vertical tilt

Full-colour night vision and enhanced IR illumination

AI-powered detection: Human, pet (cat/dog), crying baby, and virtual fence alerts

Linked camera functionality with real-time tracking and zoom

Dual-screen playback with app-based touch-to-focus

Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.3

Voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant

Xiaomi HyperOS Connect for smart home automation

Two-way voice calls with high-fidelity speaker

Secure local AI detection and embedded security chip

Storage via microSD (16–256GB), NAS, or cloud

Upright or inverted installation with app-configurable orientation

Compatible with Android 8.0+ and iOS 12.0+

SPECIFICATIONS:

Wide-Angle Lens: 2.8mm, 110° FoV

Telephoto Lens: 6mm, 58° FoV

Resolution: 2560 × 1440 (4MP)

Night Vision: Full-colour + 16× 940nm IR per camera

Rotation: 360° horizontal, 24° vertical tilt

Image Processing: Built-in ISP, 20fps motion smoothing

Detection: Human, pet, baby cry, virtual fence

Chipset: 1 TOPS AI processor, 22nm A35 architecture

Security: MJA1 chipset with embedded keys and certificate

Video Encoding: H.265

Audio: Built-in speaker with acoustic cavity, two-way calls

Connectivity: Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax), Bluetooth 5.3

Storage: microSD (16–256GB), NAS, cloud (subscription required)

Installation: Upright or inverted (adjustable via app)

Dimensions: 7.8 × 7.7 × 12.8 cm

Weight: Approx. 305g

Power Input: 5V⎓2A

App Compatibility: Xiaomi Home v9.4+, Android 8.0+, iOS 12.0+

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

Xiaomi Smart Camera C500 Dual x1

Mounting bracket x1

User manual x1

Mounting template sticker x1

Power adapter x1

Power cable x1

Wall mounting accessories pack x1

Warranty card x1
