Price Match & Price Lock
How price match works, what we will beat and how long we hold a price.
Price lock
A build quote is held for 24 hours from the moment you save it. If our own price moves up inside that window, you pay the lower of the two.
Price match
We match a South African competitor’s landed price for the same model where the offer is verifiable: the retailer is a real South African seller, the model number matches exactly, the item is in stock at that price, and the price includes VAT and any delivery charge they apply.
Claims are submitted with the listing and answered against those checks. A claim is not refused because of a technicality that does not change the landed price.
A matched price is recorded on the order itself, so the adjustment appears in your order history instead of living as a verbal concession nobody can point back to.
Why our own history matters more
Match claims compare one moment to another. The price index records ours daily, so "is this a good time to buy" is answered with measured history rather than with a rumour.
