Why this hub exists on its own

Power and cooling are where builds fail after purchase. A supply that is large enough in watts but short on 8-pin or 12VHPWR connectors is not compatible, and a cooler that clears the CPU but not the case side panel does not fit at all.

What we publish about a supply

Rated wattage, efficiency rating, form factor, connector inventory and warranty term. The engine compares those against the computed draw of your chosen parts and reports both a hard error below the minimum and a warning when headroom is thin.

Cooling limits that are easy to miss

Cooler height against the case maximum, radiator size against case support, and mount type against the board. A cooler that clears the processor but overhangs the memory slots is a warning; one taller than the case is an error and is not offered at all.

Paste, pads and fan bundles are catalogued by what they are applied to rather than by marketing wording, which is why this hub exists separately from cases and coolers instead of being folded into them.
