Compatibility-verified builds

Build a PC that actually fits together

Compatibility-verified PC builds with performance bands and measured power draw.

Pick parts — the list only offers what fits

What the engine says about this build

Nothing picked yet. Choose a processor and a motherboard first — socket is where most builds fail.

Measured power draw and supply sizing

Select a processor to get an estimated draw. Figures come from published thermal design power, not marketing claims.

The build is the link — no account needed, and anyone who opens it sees the same verification on the same parts. Copy it:

Three answers, not one list

Choose an archetype (gaming, office or AI/workstation) and a tier. The engine searches compatible parts inside your budget band and returns three labelled builds — best value, best performance, quietest — so the trade-off is explicit instead of hidden in a single recommendation.

What each build tells you

Expected performance band for popular titles at 1080p, 1440p and 4K where benchmark data exists; the bottleneck component limiting that result; estimated system wattage and recommended supply minimum with headroom; estimated annual electricity cost at South African tariffs; and the upgrade path the chosen supply already allows.

Shareable and quotable

A saved build gets a link that anyone can open. The same link doubles as a quotation for a business buyer, and the parts list stays priced from live data.

Recommendation and checkout use one rule set

Parts chosen by the engine are checked by the same compatibility rules applied at checkout, so a recommended build is a compatible build rather than a plausible shopping list.

Where a rule cannot be evaluated because an attribute is missing from the catalogue, the build is flagged as incomplete instead of being presented as finished. Attribute coverage is reported per component category, and the engine is not offered for a category until its required attributes are present for the parts listed in it.

Parts offered here are the development sample catalogue. Verification logic, attribute requirements and power sizing are the real engine; live stock and prices arrive with the supplier feed.
